  • We take matching seriously. We consider your goals, interests, communication style, cultural background, and practical needs when identifying the right support worker for you. We encourage a meet-and-greet before committing to a regular arrangement.

  • All KAAMI support workers hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), current First Aid, and NDIS Worker Orientation Module certification. Many hold additional qualifications relevant to specific participant needs.

  • Yes. We encourage participants to build consistent relationships with their support workers. We do our best to accommodate preferences for specific workers, subject to availability.

  • Support worker services are funded under the Core Supports — Assistance with Daily Life budget. This is typically the most flexible budget in an NDIS plan and can be used across a range of daily support activities.
